Refund and Returns Policy

Custom painted key products are personalized, so returns work differently from standard ready-made accessories. The most important rule is simple: ask early if fit, design, or timing is uncertain.

Short answer

Orders can be easier to change before production starts. Once a custom finish is in production, cancellation or return options may be limited because the item is being made for a specific shell style and design direction.

Before production starts

If you need to correct a design note, shipping address, or compatibility question, contact support as soon as possible. We will review what can still be changed based on the order status.

After production starts

Once painting or personalization has started, the product may no longer be reusable for another buyer. That is why refunds and returns are limited after production begins.

Defects or fulfillment mistakes

If the item arrives damaged, visibly defective, or materially different from the confirmed order scope, send clear photos, the order number, packaging photos, and a short explanation so the case can be reviewed.

Fit uncertainty

If you ordered without confirming an uncertain shell shape, fit-related returns may be limited. For best results, send photos before checkout when the button layout or shell profile is not obvious.

What is usually not eligible for a return

  • Custom finish choices that were produced according to the order notes.
  • Color expectations based only on screen appearance, lighting, or unofficial paint-match assumptions.
  • Orders where the product was expected to include programming, cutting, immobilizer pairing, or locksmith service.
  • Damage caused by keys, coins, tools, harsh cleaners, solvents, dropping, scratching, or normal daily wear.
  • Use of protected marks, official-looking badges, or artwork that falls outside the accepted custom scope.

How to request help

Contact support with the order number, the email used at checkout, clear photos of the key shell, photos of the packaging if relevant, and a short description of the issue. If the concern is about color or artwork, include photos taken in normal lighting so the review is practical.

Refunds, replacements, partial credits, or other resolutions are reviewed case by case. Any approved refund is normally returned to the original payment method through the payment processor.

Returns FAQ

Can I cancel after placing an order?

Contact support immediately. If production has not started, there may be more flexibility. If custom work has already started, cancellation may not be available.

Can I return a personalized painted key shell because I changed my mind?

Usually no. Personalized custom work is produced for a specific order direction, so change-of-mind returns are limited.

What if the product arrives damaged?

Send photos of the packaging and product as soon as possible. Do not throw away the packaging until the shipping issue has been reviewed.

What if I expected a working replacement key?

This product is not a replacement-key service. Programming, cutting, electronics, and immobilizer pairing are outside the custom painted shell offer.
