Custom Car Key ships the finished custom painted compatible shell or supported aftermarket key fob to you. You do not ship your original key to us.

Short answer

Painted shell orders start after fit and finish details are clear enough for production. Complete aftermarket key fob quotes may require extra confirmation because cutting, programming, and local setup are still handled by the customer after delivery.

What ships

The package may contain a painted compatible shell, or a complete aftermarket key fob when that path was quoted and confirmed before production.

What does not ship to us

Your original working key stays with you. Do not mail an original key unless support gives a different written instruction for a specific future service.

Before production

Support may ask for photos when the shell shape, button layout, blade area, or design note is uncertain.

After delivery

Electronics transfer, blade cutting, programming, immobilizer pairing, and local setup are handled by you or a local locksmith/key shop when needed.

Delivery and tracking

Custom orders are not instant shelf items. Production timing depends on compatibility review, finish complexity, artwork clarity, and order volume. Tracking is sent through the order contact details when available.

Import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, customs inspection, carrier delays, address problems, holidays, or weather can affect delivery after a package leaves fulfillment.

Do I send my original key to you?

Does the package arrive ready to use?

A shell-only order needs local transfer. A complete aftermarket fob may still need cutting, programming, or local setup.
